Transportation YOU - ASCE YMF Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day

On February 20, 2025, Transportation YOU joined Sacramento’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Younger Member Forum for their Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day. The event was held at Sacramento State University and gave professionals a platform to help generate interest in STEM in young students. The event featured multiple tables of activities that interested students could participate in. The WTS Sacramento table featured our signature interchange activity, allowing students the opportunity to learn about and design different interchanges while critically thinking about how to get  drivers from point A to Point B. Overall, the event was successful. We met a lot of bright young students and were able to discuss our careers and passion for the transportation industry.
