2024 Mentorship Program

Program participants will enjoy exclusive benefits and learn new skills to help advance the career goals and growth of our WTS members! Please fill out an application no later than Monday, July 22, 2024 to participate in this rewarding 8-month long mentorship experience. Participants will receive an email with information about the program schedule, including our kickoff event. See eligibility requirements below.
Please note that the mentoring program is constrained by the number of mentors enrolled. We will strive to accommodate all applicants, but participation or specific “match” requests are not guaranteed. If we are not able to accommodate your application this year, we will prioritize your application the following year (if eligibility criteria are met).
Eligibility Criteria

Commitment to the 8-month long program, which includes in person attendance at one (1) kickoff in August 2024 and one (1) wrap-up event, plus monthly meetings between mentors and mentees at a mutually agreed-upon times and date.

Mentee participants must be WTS members at the start of the program. If you are not a member, there’s still time to sign up!
Mentor
-
Open to all who hold senior positions in the transportation or transportation-related industry and have the desire and ability to assist their mentees to learn and grow in their careers.

Open to women, men or gender nonconforming individuals.

WTS membership is not necessary.

NOTE: Previous mentoring experience is not required!
Mentee
-
Women and people of marginalized gender identities, including trans and cis women, non-binary and gender expansive people with at least 3-10 years of experience in the transportation or related industry working directly on transportation-related projects.

Skills and abilities that demonstrate leadership.

Must be WTS Sacramento Chapter member.
