UC Davis' Student Chapter has started off its third year strong! We are proud to further WTS goals in our student community. In October, board members worked together to produce an event with one of our highest turnout rates ever for an annual Kick-Off Meeting. Since the previous year, we've began producing a monthly newsletter, connecting students to job opportunities, posting current transportation-related events/articles and chapter updates through our Facebook page, and increased communication with the Sacramento chapter. While event planning activities were dampened by poor air quality preceding the holiday break, WTS UCD is excited to have a bike tour, career panel, and other exciting events in the works. Congratulations to recent graduates, Tarah Brady (Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Development with an emphasis in Environmental Policy and Regional Planning) and Richa Nanavati (Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Management) - best of luck out there! We also welcome Melanie Callahan to the board to serve as an internal communications officer.
