2021-2022 Mentorship Program Kick-Off

The 2021-22 Mentorship Program kicked off on Tuesday, November 30th, at the 555 Capitol Mall Board Room in Downtown Sacramento. This was an introduction event for mentors and mentees to get acquainted in person before they were divided into mentor-mentee pairs. Hors d'oeuvres were served as participants mingled and observed a short presentation about the program's general guidelines and goals from the Program Co-Chairs, Sherri Berexa and Sherina Lam. The mentors were then seated around the room as mentees rotated to hold brief conversations with each of them. At the end of the event, participants were asked to complete a survey to provide feedback on any connections they made from the evening. They were also presented with a copy of StrengthFinders 2.0 as part of the program's resource to encourage discussions on discovering and building their individual strengths.
