About the Event
To celebrate May is Bike Month, join WTS-Sacramento on a Downtown Sacramento Bikeways Ride to experience first-hand our Chapter’s 2018 Innovative Transportation Solutions Award winning project! This fun and informative ride will feature parking separated bikeways and other bicycle improvements to improve mobility options for bicyclists of all ages and abilities and to enhance safety for all users in the central city. These bikeways projects are being led by a team of remarkable women including Jenifer Donlon-Wyant, Megan Johnson, and Megan Carter with the City of Sacramento Department of Public Works.
This ride will take place on May 28th, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The ride will start at Roosevelt Park (9th and Q) and will be about 5 miles long with plenty of informative stops along the way. Feel free to stay for a no-host networking gathering at Iron Horse Tavern after the bike ride.

COST: Free for WTS members, $15 for non-members.
Members who are no-shows will be charged the full non-member price. Members may not have a non-member take their place.
If you have a bike, please bring it! If you do not have a bike, we have partnered with JUMP who will provide you with an electric assist JUMP bike. Please let us know on the registration page.
You are encouraged to wear a helmet. Please bring one with you if you have one. If you do not, and would like one, we will work on providing you with one. Please let us know on the registration page.
